Mr. Dilip Sanyal (Badminton) :

Born and brought up at Meerut Mr. Sanyal serving the game of Badminton since 1970s, first as a player and then as a coach. He has the privilege of dealing with all departments of games and sports viz. playing, coaching, administration, organising, umpiring etc.

Meerut University champion in 70’s took coaching as a hobby in different schools and colleges of Meerut. In 1975 he has joined the Defence Accounts Department in sports quota. He obtained the Diploma in coaching as a topper of the batch in the year 1980-81 from the prestigious Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports, Patiala. In the same year he has become the National Umpire of Badminton Association of India, In 2011 he was elevated in the National panel of referees & till date he is the only National Umpire & referee in Badminton from western U.P.

In 1982 he has also served as Technical Official in the mega event of Delhi Asian Games. There after he has done the duties of technical official in various National and International events.

In 1983 he left the Defence Accounts Department and joined the National Institute of Sports (Now Sports Authority of India) as full time coach.

Regarding coaching he expressed that his golden period is from 1987 to 1999 at Allahabad. Since 1987 to 1999 each and every year without a break of any year his trainees are in 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in various National Championships. A few of them are Salil Srivastava,1987 sub junior. National champion, Abhinn Shyam Gupta who is national champion in all the four category viz. mini, sub junior & senior and also a Arjun Awardy, Sushant Saxena Jr. national champion & twice Sr.national runnerup, Niharika Tandon represent India in Jr. World Championship,Anjali Purwar Rly.Champion . Ruchita Gupta Jr. India no. 3. The best part is in the year 1994 when U.P. become National Champion after a gap of 36 years and all the five players representing U.P. were taking training under him. The U.P. Sports Journalist has honored him as the best coach in the same year at Lucknow.

In 1997 he has also nominated as National Coach during Prakash Padukone era.

In 1999 he joined the Administration work at S.A.I. Central Centre, Delhi in Monitoring Cell but after few months again given the charge of SAI Badminton Academy at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi. After a year or so he has again been asked to do the Administration work of SAI Training Center, Delhi.

In February 2009 SAI has send him to the Organizing Committee of XIX Commonwealth Games Delhi, in Sports Functional Area and for the last more than one and half year coordinating the game of Badminton. Currently as equipment manager he is looking the work of field of play, warm up area, training area of Siri Fort Sports Complex and Saket Sports Complex, where the Badminton competition will be held.

Black belt in Taekwondo (2002) and Black belt in Kickboxing (2005)

National Champion in taekwondo 1999-2004

International Player and won 3rd Place in Taekwondo 2004 (at Bangalore)

International Training Camp Attend in TAEKWON-DO (Nepal) (2007).

Asian Referee Diploma with Grade A1 in Kickboxing (WAKO)(2015-16 )

Born and brought up at Meerut Mr. Arvind Kumar Sherwalia serving the game of Martial Arts since 1994, first as a player and then as a coach. He has the privilege of dealing with the all departments of games and sports viz. playing, coaching, administration, organizing, umpiring etc.etc.

A Meerut CCSUniversity (Noida College of Physical Education) Taekwondo champion in 2003 to 2005, he took coaching as a hobby in different schools and colleges in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar (U.P) and Dehradun (Uttarakhand). He obtained the Degree in physical education and Master Degree in Physical Education, taekwondo Diploma in coaching year 2002 and Kickboxing Diploma in coaching year  as a topper of the batch in the year 2005 from the Indian Association of Kickboxing Organization and In the same year he has become the National Umpire and Technical Assistance  Director of National Kickboxing Federation (IAKO), in 2006 he has elevated in the National panel of referees & till date he is the only National Umpire & referee in Kickboxing from western U.P and Uttarakhand. In 2006 he has also served as Technical Official in the mega event of SGFI National Game in Delhi (2006). There after he has done the duties of technical official in various National and International events. Regarding coaching he expressed that his golden period is from 1999 to 2005 at Meerut and Muzaffarnagar (U.P), 2005 to 2009 Dehradun (Uttarakhand) and 2009 to continue in Meerut Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth, Meerut. Since then each and every year without a break of any year his trainees are playing in the Nationals. In 2013 he joined presently working with AD-Astra Sports Academy.

UntitledMr. Hassaan Ahmad Noori (Basketball):  

Mr. Hassaan serving the game of Basketball since 1999, first as a player and then as a coach. He has the privilege of dealing with the all departments of games and sports viz. playing, coaching, administration, organising, umpiring etc.

As Aligarh Muslim University champion in 2002 to 2010’s he took coaching as a hobby in different schools and colleges in Aligarh. He obtained the Masters  in English Literature from the prestigious AMU, Aligarh and B.P.Ed  from Barkatullah University. He has become the Junior Coach of Bihar Basketball Association of India.

Regarding coaching he expressed that his golden period is from 2005 to 2012 at Aligarh and Patna. Since then each and every year without a break of any year his trainees are playing in the Nationals. A few of them are Chandni Sharma (Youngest player participated in Senior National, Delhi 2010) ,Jagrity Sharma , Rahul singh, Anushka, Kritika (all  participate in Senior National), Piyush Sharma, Srijan (K.V. National), Shahbuddin, Devraj (East zone CBSE Cluster winner).

In 2012 he joined Edu-Sports (India’s biggest Sports Curriculum providing Company) and presently working with AD-Astra school of sports.
